UNAI SDG Hub 7 Co-Chairs: Lagos State University | Energy Policy and Development Centre, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
The Lagos State University (LASU), located at Ojo, was established as a Public University in 1983 by the enabling law of Lagos State. Established with the vision of pursuing the advancement of learning and academic excellence, the university has been unrelenting in the pursuit of its mission of becoming a citadel of learning, a community with the trademark of excellence in teaching, research and service to humanity, a catalyst as well as an agent for development.
The Lagos State University currently operates three major campuses, namely: Ojo, Ikeja, and Epe. The Ojo campus is the Main Campus and the seat of the Central Administration. The Lagos State University (LASU) currently has a total of 43,362 Students.

The Energy Policy and Development Centre (KEPA), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as UNAI SDG7 Hub Co-chair, aims to: i) develop a program of tangible aims in conformity with those of the "2030 Agenda", ii) cooperate with other UNAI SDG Hubs when this is necessary.
UNAI members, academic institutions, local communities, market forces and local authorities will be invited to participate in a UNAI SDG7 Community.
Funding will be secured from multilateral/unilateral entities and private/public sectors.
Improving curricula and research development will be enforced through knowledge transfer and training programs.
International Conferences, Fora, tele-meetings, the 2nd UNAI SDGs Hubs Conference have already been announced.
