UNAI SDG Hub 13 Chair: University of the West Indies
The University of the West Indies is committed to the SDGs integrating the principles of the Goals throughout its teaching, research, and advocacy efforts. A primary research focus is climate change and sustainable development, which has garnered global recognition for the university as a leading source of information on Small Island Developing States. Over the past decade, The UWI has strategically formed joint global centres and initiatives with other institutions to promote advocacy and achieve development outcomes related to sustainable development.
In 2024, it established the International School for Development Justice (ISDJ)¡ªthe world¡¯s first global business school dedicated exclusively to online graduate programs that emphasize leadership in the SDGs.
